Affixation in Kolokuma Stella Akinola & Edmund Werigbelegha

Abstract This study examines affixation, reduplication and compounding as word formation processes in Kolokuma. The types and functions of affixes found in Kolokuma are discussed. This study uses a basic descriptive approach in the analysis of the data. Interviews and observation were used as instruments of data collection. This study reveals that affixation and compounding are more productive morphological processes of word formation in Kolokuma.
